Ash Grove Cement Plant
at Whitewright, TX
Ash Grove cement plans to build a $400 million toxic wasteland just south of Wrightwright, TX — exposing everyone from Greenville to Lake Texoma and Mckinney to Bonham with millions of pounds of lead, mercury and other chemicals.  ...

This page will serve along with petitions, and legal actions to put a stop to their plans on destroying our clean air and water.  ...

We will post information on how destructive these plants are and our progress reports.
We want everyone to become a fan, sign our petition (available soon) and offer any information you may have.   Thanks.

Ash Grove told me that they will use the railroad line that runs through Whitewright to bring in tires and coal to use as fuel for their proposed plant. That sounds like a clean burning plant?

The plant would certainly jeopardize the organic certification of Texas' largest certified organic farm —Texas Green Farms — which is very near to the proposed plant site.
